I'm in Long Beach California so my outdoor experience will probably be different than yours. This year I had 4 harvests. I grow outside year round. I only use water, worm casting tea, beneficial bugs, and companion plants. More on that later.
It's getting ready to rain and temperatures are down to the high 40's at night so I built a very cheap greenhouse. Check it out.
I'm not ready to let them flower so I put solar LED lights on them. They will keep vegging (growing and not flowering) until I remove the lights.
